I had the pleasure of working with Färnaz for six weeks on developing services for international employees in Finnish academia. She is a true HR professional with excellent insights into recruitment, diversity, equity, inclusion, and skills development. Färnaz has a brilliant eye for developing organisational processes and always makes perceptive suggestions. Her dedication to learning and continuous improvement is impressive, an example of which is her commitment to deepening her Finnish skills in a professional context. With outstanding people skills, Färnaz is an invaluable team member and an empathetic colleague.

Before finding answers, I ask better questions.
I believe the same person can thrive in one environment and struggle in another. That makes me curious about what happens beneath the surface: how people work, what they need, and what might be holding them back.
Whether I'm building an HR process, hiring someone, or improving an employee experience, I try to understand the people and the problem before deciding what needs to change.
See how that thinking becomes workWhat I've worked on.
Behind every project is a challenge worth understanding. Here are three ways I've turned people challenges into practical solutions.
Building HR from the ground up
Creating HR practices where none existed. from clear roles and performance processes to stronger knowledge sharing across teams.
02Building a talent pipeline before the department existed
Turning a future hiring need into an expert-led programme that built industry visibility, identified talent, and generated course revenue.
03Making the first days matter
Improving the employee experience before day one through a thoughtful approach to welcome, mentoring, and team connection.
There's more to my story than the roles I've held.
I'm curious about people, what shapes their choices, and the different ways they experience the world. That curiosity has followed me through my career, across new environments, and into projects beyond traditional HR.

From people I’ve worked with.
I’ve known Farnaz since 2012 when she joined us as the head of human operations. She helped set up the HR department from scratch, which was a challenge because we were in the process of reorganizing the company’s structure. With her, we were able to build an efficient department responsible for talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and many more! It took great hard work on her part, but it made an immediate difference for our employees and a great achievement for the company. using her organizational and social skills she helped us break down boundaries and build a more cohesive working culture. It was her interest and deep knowledge of human resources, as well as her diligence, focus on teamwork, and dedication to problem-solving that contributed to her success.
Farnaz has so far provided services on two occasions for us. She is very engaging, social-smart, and determined. I always found her a highly proactive personality that puts extra effort into achieving better results than expected. She is also quite adaptive, thirsty to grow, and polite.
Farnaz helped us for hiring a team with high seniority in natural language processing for Tehran office. She helped us hire super talented specialists which was so helpful and fast. She also managed the HR interviews with candidates. Because her academic major and her experience in the field of human recourse management, she knows what to do and how to do without any supervision. All the best Farnaz and looking forward to future collaborations.
